The objectives are as follows:

  • Conscious and independent avoidance of waste
  • Optimising lead times by eliminating non-productive activities
  • All work processes have untapped potential for improvement
  • Standardisation of work processes
  • Creating and living by standards set for ourselves

These objectives are achieved by:

  • First stage: Order and cleanliness (1)
  • Second stage: Standardisation of processes and activities (2)
  • Third stage: Simplifying work processes through KAIZEN (3)
  • Fourth stage: Self-management by taking personal responsibility (4)
