Information about transport and logistics at Bächle Hugger

If you would like proof of delivery, please send us an email with the following information:

  • Sender and recipient
  • Number of packages including weight
  • The period in which the packages were sent and received

The following information is mandatory:

  • Gross weight
  • Dimensions including length, width and height
  • Dispatch and delivery location

Loading metres are calculated as follows:
Length x width / 2.4 = loading metre

Example:
1 FP = 1.20 m x 0.80 m / 2.4 = 0.4 LDM

Actual weight = the physical weight of the shipment

Chargeable weight (or volume weight) = the calculated shipment weight based on its dimensions (length x width x height in cubic measurement or LDM)
This weight determines the necessary space required inside the lorry. The transport costs of an order are calculated on this basis.

Depending on the weight or size of the shipment, the actual or chargeable weight is used to calculate the transport costs.

SLVS stands for forwarding, logistics and warehouse insurance policy and is proof of liability insurance for freight forwarders.

The price may vary depending on the weight, quantity, dimensions and location.

To calculate the price for your shipment, simply send an email with the following information to verkauf@baechle-group.de:

  • Number of packages including weight, dimensions (length, width and height are required)
  • Dispatch and delivery location
  • Standard or fast shipping (NextDay, etc.)

Freight charges are the transport costs associated with shipping from the sender to the main means of transportation or from this to the recipient.
